We're the floral studio at 4556 Cemetery Road in Hilliard, and when you call, Tamim or Vicki picks up — the same two people who'll cut the stems, build the piece and drive it over themselves. Noor has served Central Ohio's Muslim community since 2006. Practice around flowers varies from family to family: many prefer none at the masjid and welcome an arrangement or a plant at the home after the burial, while others accept simple green and white work. We'll ask rather than assume, and tell you plainly if we think a home delivery is the gentler gesture.
It's worth knowing that a national website won't ask whether your family wants flowers at all. It will take the order, apply a template and send whatever its catalogue files under “sympathy” — frequently wrong, and wrong in a way the family notices at the worst possible moment. Sending flowers to Noor
If you're not sure what's appropriate, just call — we'll ask a couple of gentle questions and tell you plainly what fits, including when something smaller, or nothing at all, is the better choice.
1At the masjid. Where the family welcomes them, simple green and white arrangements only. Many families prefer none at all — and we'll say so rather than sell you something that doesn't belong.
2To the family's home. Usually the gentler gesture. An arrangement or a living plant delivered to the house after the burial, when the visitors have gone and the days get quiet.
3Something other than flowers. Sometimes the right answer is a plant, a meal, or nothing at all. We'll tell you if we think that's the case, even though it costs us the order.

Are flowers appropriate at Noor?
It depends on the family, and there's no single right answer. Many Muslim families prefer no flowers at the masjid and welcome them at the home after the burial; others accept simple, restrained green and white arrangements. Can you deliver to Noor Islamic Cultural Center?
Yes. Noor Islamic Cultural Center is at 5001 Wilcox Road, Dublin, OH 43016, about 12 minutes from our studio in Hilliard. We also deliver to Noor's Hilliard campus on Britton Parkway, which is only minutes away.
What should I send if the family has asked for no flowers?
Respect the request. A plant delivered to the home a week later, a meal, or a donation in the person's name are all appropriate and often more welcome. We're glad to help you think it through even if it means we don't make a sale.
How quickly can you deliver? Janaza happens fast.
We know. Islamic burial usually takes place within a day, faster than most florists plan for. Call as early as you can and we'll tell you honestly what's possible rather than taking the order and hoping.
Do you charge a service fee like the national websites?
No. We're not a wire service or an order-gatherer. You're paying a Hilliard floral studio directly, so more of what you spend ends up in the actual arrangement.
I'm out of state. Can I still send flowers to Ohio today?
Yes — most of the people we help aren't in Ohio at all, and that's completely normal. Order online or call, tell us the funeral home or church and the service time, and we'll take care of the rest here in Hilliard.
Can a group of coworkers send one arrangement together?
Yes, and it happens often. One person can order and simply note it's from the office or the team — we'll list names on the card however feels right. Call us if you're splitting the cost a few ways and want a hand sorting it out.
